All natural dog treats have grown in popularity over the past few years. A lot of people are worried about buying their dogs pet treats that aren’t all natural in fear of what is in them. Most mass produced pet treats do not use all natural ingredients simply because it’s cheaper and easier to use “unhealthy” ingredients. When you make homemade dog treats for your pup you eliminate the chance of your dog eating anything unhealthy because you are in charge of the ingredients.

Poochy’s Peanut Butter Dog Treats

1 cup rice flour

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup peanut butter

1 tsp. baking powder

1 cup water

Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir together. Add peanut butter and water. Combine until dough forms. Roll dough into 1/4″ thickness and cut into desired shapes. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool and serve.

Chicken Dog Treats

1 1/2 cup oat flour

1 can chopped chicken

1 chicken bouillon cube

1 tsp. baking powder

1 cup hot water

Directions: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Dissolve chicken bouillon cube in hot water. Combine oat flour and baking powder in a large mixing bowl. Add chopped chicken and water mixture. Combine until dough forms. Add more flour if dough is too sticky. Roll dough into 1/4″ thickness and cut into desired shapes. Place treats on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 35 minutes. Let cool and serve.
