Birds nowadays are not only becoming superstars, or shall I say, super pets, in their various stages in zoos all over the world, but also in the game world.
The “Angry Birds” game has been such a phenomenal hit not only amongst the youngsters in our society, but also among the adult community as well. After the “Plants
vs. Zombies” game, it has been a while since a game has reached the status of becoming a global phenomenon for a few months’ time.
Unlike “Draw Something,” which until recently looked to be the new king of the hill in smart phone gaming, and which has since significantly cooled off, the desire for “Angry Birds” has yet to slow down. Case in point: the game just passed the billionth download mark.
Well, it’s not surprising as to how it reached this mark. Of course, the theme, rather, the concept of this game is to destroy the base of the pigs (now pigs are being casted as antagonists already, except that it’s just happening in games). Good for those who are able to pass each level easily by hitting and destroying the base in just one hit, or before the allowable number of birds available reach the zero level. If you’re unlucky, you might have to repeat the whole level again, and again, and again, until you annihilate the base.
Now, there are already three editions of the game, and just recently, there is already a fourth one, making its way to popularity as well. This just proves to show that animals can provide some entertainment to us as well.
Don’t worry. No birds were harmed in the making of the game. Just enjoy the game folks and reminisce your childhood!
